You should use Dual blend anytime that Ionized Ammonia & Toxic Un-ionized Ammonia are present in the pond. Dual Blend also removes toxic nitrites and

Start treating when the water temperature drops to 55 degrees F.

First Dosage – 6 grams per 1,000 gallons every day for 4 days

Maintenance – 4 grams per 1,000 gallons every other week

Dilute the Dual Blend in a cup of pond water and add to the pond.

Cold winters make it difficult to mix the Dual Blend in pond water, chlorine free “tap water” can be used.
